How Vehicles Are Identified 

ZKTeco uses modern technology to make parking fast and accurate. There are three main ways the system recognizes vehicles:

1. UHF Vehicle Recognition

Each car gets a small UHF RFID tag, and when it approaches the gate, a reader detects the tag. If the vehicle is authorized, the barrier opens automatically no ticket or human intervention needed.

2. Advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR)

ZKTeco’s LPR is more than just reading plates it can also recognize vehicle color, type, and brand. This extra information improves accuracy and reduces errors. Even if the network goes down, the system can still operate in offline mode, making it reliable in all conditions.

3. QR Code & RF Card Access (QR600)

The QR600 provides flexible access through dynamic or static QR codes and RF cards (EM or MIFARE). It’s perfect for visitors, temporary users, or staff, giving operators full control over validity periods and access permissions no physical tickets or manual checks required.

Different Parking Setups

ZKTeco supports multiple setups depending on your parking layout:

  • Entrance & Exit Cashier Solution: Traditionally, the cashier is at the exit. In ZKTeco’s version, this can be fully automated with UHF or LPR.
  • Central Cashier Solution: One terminal can control multiple entry and exit points, perfect for larger parking areas.
  • Automatic UHF Entry: Completely replaces tickets, allowing cars to enter and exit seamlessly.
